Aloha and Welcome
Real Estate has always excited me, whether it be your home, a vacation retreat or an investment. It represents something of value and an extension of who we are. To be able to own a piece of real estate in truly one of the most beautiful tropical places in the world is a dream come true for many. With my experience and love of the islands, I would like to make that dream come true for you.
My Real Estate Background
Right out of college I immediately took real estate courses and received my real estate license in 1985. My work experience includes working in a sales office on Ward Avenue in Honolulu, for a developer in the downtown area, a large commercial firm in property management and office leasing. From there I brought my experience to the Big Island in 1992, where I again worked in the commercial field and community associations. I also have a finance background which helps broaden my experience and it's relationship to the real industry. I'm a member of the CCIM Hawaii Chapter where I'm working towards my CCIM designation. Another interesting challenge is my membership at Toastmaster Club where I'm fine tuning my public speaking skills.
A True Native Girl
Due to my Father's career, I was a young traveler not by choice. I was born in Germany, lived on the east coast, moved to Kauai and then back to the east coast all by the age of nine. My truly memorable moments were those on Kauai between the age of 5 to 9. I lived on a large estate/farm where I roamed freely building grass huts, picking up shells, glass balls (japanese floaters) and climbing trees barefoot to eat all the tropical fruits available to me. Although we moved back to the east coast, those memories never left me. Too make a long story short, my father retired to the Island of Oahu where I've made Hawaii my home ever since. The Big Island was a natural choice for me since it has a little of all the islands represented. If you decide that the Big Island is where you want to live, let my experience make it a smooth and a natural choice for you too. Mahalo
